Our Proven Methodology
In Phase 1, we work with staff, in their world, to listen to their concerns. We target a list of change opportunities from current processes through interviews, workshops and structured observations.
In Phase 2, we work with Managers to design the roll-out of changes identified in Phase I. We train Supervisors and Managers on management techniques, and we create targeted management tools to increase visibility and communication from front-line staff through to the executive. These tools link daily operations to financial results through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as productivity and quality, and they allow supervisors to identify operating problems as they occur, not after the fact.
In Phase 3, we support staff as they adopt their new way of working, and we challenge staff to continue improving their processes. We continue supporting Supervisors as they increase communication with staff . We also provide support to Managers as they implement changes according to the plan. We facilitate daily meetings between Supervisors and Managers, and weekly meetings between Managers and Executives to ensure that issues, successes and responsibilities are communicated as the department moves towards a continuous improvement mentality.
With Executive support of BPI, staff and managers are empowered, trained and provided with tools to expand the continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
